Saturday, June 5 — Portland Parks & Outdoor Recreation Poetry & Bridge Walk. The first of four walks sponsored by Parks in 2010, walk number one features poet Sage Cohen <www.writingthelifepoetic.com>. Meets 8:30 a.m., corner of NW 2nd and Everett. Preregistration NOT required. Walk about a mile, see eight bridges, visit the Morrison Bridge's operator tower and bascule pit. Ends about noon with a no-host lunch (extra $) in Chinatown. $16 for adults, $10 for students 12 and under.
