The Caterpillar Bridge was designed to unfurl when needed, then curl back up to meet the needs of both pedestrians and watercraft in urban London.

It was designed by Thomas Heatherwick Studios and photographed by Steve Speller.

The Transporter Bridge spans the Tees River, and provides a unique and colorful solution to getting goods from one side of the river to the other.
