The Regional Arts & Culture Council serves the Portland tri-county area, and works to integrate arts and culture into community life. RACC provided a grant to help fund this site.

LAG Studios and Linda A Gill, visual artist, provided the Fremont Bridge photograph used on the homepage and in the headers.

Paula Sinclair, a Portland-based musician, provided "Our Story", a musical interpretation of the William Stafford poem of the same name.

Stephen Cohen, a Portland-based musician and composer/performer, provided "Bridges Of This Town."

Ralph Nelson, conductor of the Bach Cantata Choir and composer, provided "Bridges in Town Go Up and Down".

John Daniel's website <www.johndaniel-author.net> inspired the layout of www.bridgestories.com.

Joseph Boquiren, an artist and architect, provided the drawings of the Burnside Bridge.

Scott Bronson, a one-man genius (according to Sharon), took time away from his busy relaxation schedule to put this site together. It is causually maintained by him as time permits. www.bridgestories.com was designed using Dreamweaver. Graphic elements were made with Firefox. General appearance inspired by www.johndaniel-author.net. All audio and video files encoded as .mp4's.

Fonts used on website are Comic Sans MS; Times New Roman; and Arial. Text appearance controlled by a style sheet. Layout principally controlled by use of tables.
